The Franklin-Simpson Lady Cats’ volleyball team lost in a grueling match with the Ohio County Lady Eagles in straight sets 25-14 and 28-26 last Tuesday at the F-S Gym where they honored and raised money for breast cancer.

Junior Aysia Fuller served three aces with freshman Jenna Smith serving one. Senior Alera Barbee led the team with nine kills with seniors Carly Bush hitting four and Lauren Johnson along with Smith each having two. Barbee and Smith each had two blocks with Fuller having 11 assists with senior Fantasia Suggs having five. Junior Alyssa Spears had 13 digs with right from Suggs, six from Barbee, two each from Bush, Fuller and Wallace and one each from senior Georgia Perry and Smith.

Lady Cats will celebrate Senior Night on Thursday against Warren Central in a JV/Varsity doubleheader at the F-S Gym beginning at 5:30 p.m.
