Franklin-Simpson Wildcat golfers senior Dalton Fiveash and junior Chase Wilson were selected to the All-Region 3 Team.

“Making All Region for the 3rd year in a row is an honor,” Chase Wilson said.” I appreciate the recognition and especially since my teammate “Five” (Dalton Fiveash) is included too. Our team is a close group of friends and so I’m glad to get to represent them.”

Fiveash and Wilson each had a spectacular season for the Wildcats golf program. In tournaments played, Fiveash had three top five finishes and six top 10 finishes in tournaments with Wilson having four top five finishes including winning the Region 3 Tournament.

“It was a great year for both of them and making the All-Region Team is a great accomplishment and I couldn’t be anymore prouder of them than I am right now,” Wildcats head coach Alec Silchuk said. “This is the third year in a row of making the All-Region Team. Being my first year coaching, it was great to see how much they have improved going back to our first practice over the summer. These two are great kids and I’m glad that I had the chance to spend time with them and get to know them over the season.”

Joining them on the All-Region 3 Team included Rafe Blankenship from Allen County-Scottsville, Braxton Messengale from Clinton County, Charlie Rieber from Bowling Green, Jacob Long and Nathan Oliver from Greenwood and Trevor Isenberg from Monroe County.
