Barren County senior Seth Mitvhell and junior Aden Nyeken each scored a pair of goals with sophomore Micah Wilson adding a goal.

The Wildcats put 10 shots on goal but could not score as they were shutout 5-0 by the Trojans in the final match of the Wildcat Invitational.

“We had a few players out due to injury, so we had some guys playing in positions they don’t usually play and some guys getting a lot more minutes than normal as well,” Wildcats head coach Justin Dyer said. “During both games we possessed the ball well and had good off the ball movement. Overall, this was a good learning weekend for a lot of our players and for the coaches. Good competition to help us get ready for the district tournament in a couple of weeks.”
