The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats football team will play their third district game of the season when they play at the Warren Central Dragons this Friday night at Joe P. Hood Field at Dragons Stadium.

Both teams are looking for their first district and regular season win as the Wildcats are trying to end their four game losing streak, which dates back to their loss to the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons in last year’s Region 1 championship game. The Dragons are trying to end their 49-game losing streak. Friday night will be the five-year anniversary of the last game Warren Central has won when they defeated the Warren East Raiders 23-12 on Oct. 15, 2015.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and 1220 WFKN Franklin radio will broadcast the game starting at 6:30 p.m. with the Wildcats’ Scouting Report. The game will be streamed on the internet by going to www.franklinfavorite.com and go to the WFKN link in the blue toolbar. Then click on the WFKN Sports tab and press the play button.
