Friday night was district night for the Lady Cougars and Lady Panthers. Logan County played at Franklin-Simpson. Russellville played at Todd County. The boys were not able to play due to the quarantine. Both teams lost on the road in district matchups.

The Lady Cougars fell in a heartbreaker, 39-36. The Lady Panthers ended up on the wrong side of a 47-34 contest.

In Franklin, the Lady Cougars were held in check during the opening period. At the half, Logan County had a 20-14 lead. The visitors held the lead until the 4th quarter. The Lady Cats took back the lead in the final minutes of the game and came out on top.

Gracie Borders led the team with 12 points. Sierra Seiber had 11 points in the game and went 3-for-3 from the 3-point line.

Logan County is scheduled to play at Warren Central tonight.

The Lady Panthers are scheduled to travel to Bowling Green High School tonight.
