A Franklin man was arrested on a charge of wanton endangerment on Friday, Jan. 2, stemming from an alleged mid-November incident.

 William Travis Creek, 19, was served with the arrest warrant by Franklin Police Officer Serhiy Varyvoda.

 The warrant says Creek allegedly pointed a pistol at another person during an altercation on Nov. 16.


 A Russellville woman was injured when the car she was driving left Ky. 100 West and rolled over at least one time on Wednesday, Dec. 24.

 Sheryl Poole, 55,  was taken by Franklin-Simpson Ambulance Service to The Medical Center at Franklin after the accident that happened at about 8:50 a.m.

 Simpson County Deputy Sheriff Matt Freeman's report said Poole was the driver and only occupant of the eastbound 2011 Nissan Versa that left the roadway about 31⁄2 half miles from Franklin. The report said the car came to rest in a ditch.

 Franklin-Simpson Fire Rescue also responded.
