Franklin-Simpson Fire Rescue received 30 calls during September.

September's calls brought the total for 2015 through Sept. 30 to 263.

There were two calls to structure fires during September. One call was to Burger King restaurant on U.S. 31-W South on Sept. 26 and one was to a house trailer on Groves Lane two days later.

F-S Fire Rescue responded to 13 traffic collisions including 12 involving injury. The personal injury collision also included one involving a fire.

There were three calls to hay rolls on fire, there was one field and corn stubble fire along with one mulch and bush fire. There was one call to a natural gas leak, one call to assist the Franklin-Simpson Ambulance Service and one call to assist another agency.

The remaining calls were false alarms, were canceled en route or the fire was out on arrival.
