A Franklin man pleaded guilty to DUI — third offense in Simpson District Court.

Stephen Baird, 38, was ordered to serve 30-days in jail on September 24th with credit for seven days already served. Baird also pleaded guilty to driving on a DUI suspended license receiving a 90-day sentence that was placed on 24-months conditional discharge. His license and plate were suspended for two years. Fines, a fee and court costs totaled $1,029.

Guilty pleas were entered to a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence in five cases recently in Simpson District Court.

Christopher Scott Eaton, 38, of Franklin, received a two-day sentence with credit for one day already served and his license was suspended for 60 days. A fine, fee and court costs totaled $729.

Jose Adolfo, 38, of Bowling Green, also pleaded guilty to no operator's/moped license and unauthorized parking in a handicapped zone. Adolfo received a two-day sentence on the operating a motor vehicle under the influence charge and a 30-day sentence on the no operator's/moped license with both sentences placed on 24 months conditional discharge. His license was suspended for 60 days. Fines, a fee and court costs totaled $754.

Jason Tyler Pitt, 22, of White House, Tennessee was ordered to serve eight days in jail. His license was suspended for 30 days. A fine, fee and court costs totaled $729.

Lisa J. Smith, 45, of Morgantown, received a five-day sentence with credit for time served and her license was suspended for 60 days. She also pleaded guilty to failure to produce insurance card receiving a $500 fine of which $400 was placed on 24-months conditional discharge. Fines, fees and court costs ordered paid totaled $829.

And, a two-day sentence was placed on 24-months conditional discharge in the case of Timothy D. Westmore, Jr., 24, of Elizabethtown. Westmore's license was suspended for 60 days. A fine, fee and court costs totaled $754.
