A Russellville man received a four-year sentence after pleading guilty to flagrant nonsupport in Simpson Circuit Court.
Lias A. Beard, 34, received the sentence and was fined $1,000 on Monday, July 6.
In other cases heard on July 6, five-years probation was approved in two cases involving a Franklin man. A guilty plea was entered by Jacob D. McFadin, 24, in one case to unlawful possession of a meth precursor and third-degree terroristic threatening. He pleaded guilty in the other case to three counts of second-degree disorderly conduct and one count each of menacing, resisting arrest and promoting contraband.
And, 12 months probation was approved in two cases. Guilty pleas were entered by Tammy M. Goins, 33, of Scottsville, and Eddie Virgil Shrum, 36, of Pleasant Grove, Tennessee to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Shrum was fined $600.
A Woodburn woman received a seven-year sentence in Simpson Circuit Court on Monday, June 29.
Tammy Lynn Allen, 42, pleaded guilty to facilitation to manufacturing methamphetamine and bail jumping. She was given credit for 75 days already served in jail and ordered to pay a fine and restitution totaling almost $1,936.
