A Franklin man received a seven-year sentence in Simpson Circuit Court.

 Tommy L. Smith, 22, pleaded guilty to second degree robbery and menacing. Smith was ordered to pay a fine and restitution totaling more than $1,283.

 Probation was approved in the case of Marcus D. Carey, 31, of Franklin. Three years probation was approved in the case in which Carey pleaded guilty to giving an officer a false name or address and fleeing or evading police on foot. Court costs totaled $625.

 Three-years conditional discharge was approved in the case of a Chicago woman who pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft by deception under $500. Shante Tiuna Newson, 26, was ordered to pay almost $560 in restitution.

 A Franklin man pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance – cocaine with two years probation approved in his case.

Linwood Pullum, 49, pleaded guilty to the charge.

 Twelve months conditional discharge was approved in the case of Dylan Sellier, 20, of Franklin. Sellier pleaded guilty to nonsupport.

 Probation was approved in the case of a Franklin man charged with theft by unlawful taking. Three years probation was approved in the case of Timothy L. Youngblood, 44, who pleaded guilty to the charge. Youngblood was ordered to pay more than $3,931 restitution.

 Four years pre trial diversion was approved in the case of an Oakland man. Toni R. Hudspeth, 28, pleaded guilty to facilitation to manufacturing methamphetamine and ordered to provide 15 hours community service.

 Twelve months conditional discharge was approved in the case of a Bowling Green man. A guilty plea was entered by Paul Michael Reynolds, 30, to a charge of theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting under $500.

 Three years probation was approved in the case of another Bowling Green man. Carney M. Smith, 21, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance – drug unspecified and possession of drug paraphernalia. Smith was ordered to pay more than $55 restitution.

 And, four years probation was approved in the case of a Nashville, Tennessee, man charged with two counts of third-degree burglary. Guilty pleas were entered to the charges by 35 year-old Don Allen Wallace. He was ordered to pay almost $11,700 dollars restitution.
