A Franklin man was ordered to serve no more than 12 months in jail as a condition of probation in Simpson Circuit Court.
 A guilty plea was entered by Don D. Flippin, 54, to possession of a controlled substance – drug unspecified and tampering with physical evidence. Three years probation was approved with probation conditions including the no more than 12-month jail sentence and paying restitution of some $55. Â
 Four-years probation was approved in the case of a Franklin woman. A guilty plea was entered by Laura Elizabeth Orr, 34, to a charge of facilitation to manufacturing methamphetamine and two counts of complicity to wanton endangerment. Ms. Orr was ordered to pay more than $55 restitution.
 And, 12 months probation was approved in the case of a Hendersonville, Tennessee man. A guilty plea was entered by Gregory P. Kilpatrick, 58, to a charge of second-degree possession of a controlled substance. Kilpatrick was ordered to pay court costs and restitution totaling more than $405.
 Judge Janet J. Crocker presided Monday, Oct. 12 in Simpson Circuit Court.
