A zone change request for construction and operation of a seed and chemical warehouse in north Simpson County was recommended for approval by the Franklin-Simpson Planning and Zoning Commission at its meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
 Pinnacle Agriculture Distribution also wants to build an office building and dry seed warehouse at the northwest corner of U.S. 31-W North and Carr Road.
 Simpson Fiscal Court will now consider the zone change recommendation from agriculture district to heavy industrial district for the eight-acre site.
 The planning and zoning commission also approved a final development plan submitted by Kerry Bullington for eight proposed duplexes on Autumn Oaks Drive and Ky 1008.
