Last Monday I made my second trip to Franklin.
It was more beautiful and more friendly than my first trip 14 years ago. Searching my roots, 14 years ago I found the Grave of Henry Jennings, (my great grandfather). Mr. J.L. Jennings grandfather was born in Simpson County in 1854. To Ellen at the old jail -- you are beautiful. To the farmer four mile southeast of Franklin, thanks for helping me find the Old Weems Cemetery. To the lady at the, Donut shop, thanks for a best donut. Last, but certainly not least, thank you, Ray Malinowski for what you are doing to restore Lewis Cemetery. On Sunday morning, May 22, I believe God was looking at Franklin and saying "I sent a Godwink." Simpson County you are blessed.
