Praises due for Franklin renovation

This letter is written to praise and encourage the renovation and beautification that has been in progress in Franklin the past few years. Our downtown square has been remarkably enhanced by fa├žade or interior upgrade of businesses houses; some homes on streets near the square have been beautifully revamped and painted; the courthouse and churches show similar improvement.

Much praise is here offered to those whose vision has prompted this development. Not only does it show vision, but it also shows considerable financial commitment. The historic and architectural nature of these buildings has been preserved, along with the character of who we are and have been in this place.

I was impressed at the time of eclipse how a number of our guests praised the appearance of our community. We do have a great deal to offer. Let us seek the people who have promoted these improvements and give hearty thanks for their gifts.

Sincerely,

Thomas N. Moody
