Former Simpson County Judge Executive dies at the age of 90

A former Simpson County Judge Executive died Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the age of 90.

Kenneth “Chico” Harper died at the Medical Center at Franklin.

A Celebration of Life Service was held Tuesday, April 25 at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory with burial in Sulphur Spring Cemtery. Military rites were conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.

Harper was Simpson County Judge Executive from 1982 through 1998. He was also a Simpson Fiscal Court magistrate from 1970 through 1981.
