Earldean Allen, age 92, of Franklin, passed away, Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020 at 8:14 p.m. at Magnolia Village in Bowling Green.

Arrangements were under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 29 with burial in McKendree Chapel Church Cemetery in Simpson County.

Earldean was born Aug. 1, 1927 in Livingston, Tennessee to the late Ed Neal and the late Mary Etta Poston Neal. She was the wife of the late Larry Franklin Allen. She was preceded in death by a son, Carl Edward Allen; a daughter, Linda Sue Allen; and a granddaughter, Tammy LaFever.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Ann Travelstead (L.B.) of Franklin, Frankie Allen Booth of Franklin and Ruby Jean Smith of Woodburn; four grandchildren, Lisa Chandler, Frank Booth, Kim Farmer and Jill Smith; three great grandchildren, Katie Hightower and Cameron and Conner Farmer; a brother, Paul Neal of Franklin; three sisters, Mary Cook of Portland, Tennessee, Evelyn Stein of Nashville, Tennessee and Daisy Neal of St. Augustine, Florida.

Earldean was a member of McKendree Chapel Church and was retired from Potter & Brumfield.
