A federal grand jury has indicted a Franklin man on three charges following an investigation by the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force and Bowling Green Office of Homeland Security Investigations.
Donovan L. Bell, 38, is charged with two counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and one count of possession of a firearm in the furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
According to a press release from the drug task force, Bell was indicted by the federal grand jury in the Western District of Kentucky on Sept. 18.
The release says Bell was arrested Sept. 23 and turned over to the United States Marshal in Bowling Green.
The press release states that more indictments are expected.
An indictment is a formal charge by a grand jury and is not proof of guilt.
A Lafayette, Tennessee woman was injured when the van she was driving struck a steel gate and post, stop sign and wooden fence at Franklin-Simpson Community Park on Sunday, Sept. 22.
Franklin-Simpson Ambulance Service transported Nathyrra Rogue, 22, to Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green.
According to the collision report filed by Franklin Police Officer Robbie Matthews, the collision occurred just before 7:30 a.m.
The report said Rogue was the only occupant of the 2004 Chevrolet Venture involved in the collision.
