A total of 54 winter hats and 41 pairs of winter gloves and mittens were donated during WFKN Radio's annual Warming Franklin Kids Now winter clothing collection drive that ended Dec. 31.

Also donated were six scarfs, three pairs of socks, one jacket and one thermal top.

Collection bins were located at the Goodnight Library, US Bank and the offices of WFKN/The Franklin Favorite.

The donated items will be given to the Boys & Girls Club of Franklin-Simpson and Simpson County Schools Family Resource Centers for distribution to area children.
