A Franklin woman has been appointed to the Kentucky Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Nancy Jane Perry is a freelance ASL tutor. She will represent the Kentucky Association of the Deaf and will serve a term that runs through expiring July 1, 2022.

Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin appointed Perry to the commission that advises the governor and the General Assembly on policies and programs that will enhance the quality and coordination of services for the deaf and hard of hearing.
