Habitat for Humanity of Simpson County is working on its biggest fundraiser of the year, a benefit gala.

"It has been a good fundraising event for us," said Alan Bush, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Simpson County. "There are folks that will buy a table and donate the tickets back to us, so sometimes we will get double, triple sales from one table."

The theme this year is "Midnight in Paris" with entertainment by Ernie Small Blues Band. Bush said they already have the Brickyard Café lined up to do the catering.

"It is supposed to be a romantic fun night," Bush said.

The gala will be held at the Franklin Presbyterian Church Cornerstone Building starting at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 15. Tickets are $50 for an individual, $90 for a couple and $250 for a table. Tickets went on sale Dec. 1 and can be purchased at the Habitat office, 910 B South Main St. or by calling call 270-586-6515.
