Kent Kelley, local businessman and developer in Franklin, Kentucky, is building a new Spec Building in the Henderson Industrial Park.
The new 105,000 sq. ft. building’s location is planned adjacent and similar to the facility Kelley had built in 2019. A manufacturer will occupy the current Spec Building, causing the need for a new building in the Henderson Industrial Park.
“Franklin continues to be a viable industrial market and an available building helps attract companies that don’t always have time to build a new facility” Kelley stated.
“We greatly appreciate the investment that Kent Kelley makes in Franklin, Kentucky, particularly in our industrial parks” Gary Broady, Chairman of the Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority said. “His buildings help us to continue to attract industries to our area” Broady stated.
The new Spec Building is being built on a 30-acre site by Stewart Richey Construction. The building is expected to be completed by April of 2021.
