Volunteers are needed for the USDA Commodities distribution on Tuesday, July 28 at Community Park.

Bagging of the items will begin at 9 a.m.

Commodities will be distributed at Community Park on between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. by drive through only.

To limit contact, car trunks should be clear.

Proof of residency is required.

The African-American Heritage Center will have a CSFP Commodity pickup on Tuesday, July 28 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Pick up is drive thru only.

This is a Commodity Supplemental Food Program for seniors age 60 and over that live in Simpson County, are income eligible and have completed a CSFP application.

This distribution is not for everyone like at Community Park.

To apply for CSFP call Sharon Taylor-Carrillo 615-319-6531.

Anyone not able to come on the distribution date can call Taylor-Carillo to schedule a pick-up appointment.
