Simpson County residents can get a free box of dairy products on Friday, Sept. 18, starting at 9 a.m. until Noon, or while supplies last at Community Park.

Boxes are limited to one per household.

Included in the box are two gallons of milk, two individual chocolate milks, two individual strawberry milks, French onion dip, cottage cheese, sour cream, and cream cheese.

The Kentucky Dairy Development Council is working with Prairie Farms to distribute nutritional dairy products for free. This is through the Corona Virus Food Assistance Program which is part of the USDA’s Covid Relief established to help dairy producers.

For more information, contact the Simpson County Extension Office at 270-586-4484.
