The 2020 Kiwanis Christmas Parade, sponsored by Franklin Bank & Trust was held Saturday, Dec. 12.

The park was filled with cars of people waiting to drive thru to vote for their favorite entry. After all the ballots have been counted, here are the winners:

1) Community Organization — Boys & Girls Club

2) Floats — Kids on the Block

3) Vehicles- Car/Truck — April Showers Pet Care

4) Vehicles- Speciality — Goodnight Library Bookmobile

5) Vehicles-Antique — Mason Barnes

6) Church- Zion Lutheran Church and Cornerview Community Church

“We would like to thank everyone who participated, all of our community partners who helped in any way, and special thanks to Terry Joiner with the F-S Parks and Recreation Department,” Kiwanis of Franklin-Simpson President Darryl Murrell said. “Connie Johnson of Just Name It Yard Signs was our lead entry as a sign sponsor. We had a great parade — the only parade during a pandemic, and it was only because of the efforts of the entire community. We thank you so much, and we are looking forward to next year!”
