The Simpson County Board of Education held a special called meeting on Jan. 9 at the central office where the board elected members to the board, including David Webster as chair, Nancy Uhls as vice chair, Tim Schlosser as secretary and Amanda Spears was elected for Treasurer and Crocker and Thurmond serve as the board attorneys.

The board also set the dates for their work sessions and regular monthly meetings for the year 2020.

The first work session is Jan. 14 and the first regular meeting will be January 16, both at the central office.
