The Franklin-Simpson Human Rights Commission has scheduled its annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day celebrations for Jan. 21.

A commemorative breakfast is scheduled for 8 a.m. at First United Methodist Church on College Street.

A march is scheduled from First United Methodist Church to Greater Taylor Chapel AME Church at 9:30 a.m. The celebrations end with a service at Greater Taylor Chapel AME Church beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Tickets for the breakfast cost $12 and can be purchased from any human rights commission member.
